Upgrade 6700 center to CSi20 worthwhile?
Alright, there have been a couple of posts about upgrading the center channel speaker on the 6700 or 6500 to the CSi3. This idea had me thinking, but the CSi3 is a little too rich for me right now (as well as the fact that it won't physically fit in my current setup).
So as the subject pretty clearly says, do you think the CSi20 would be a worthwhile upgrade from my current 6700 center channel?
Thanks,
R2

If you are thinking about the CSi20 why not get two R15s. I cant see any difference and 2 R15s cost the same as one CSi20. You can use one as the front center and one as the rear. Just my 2 cents.Graham

So the R15s are the same as the CSi20? Looks the same to me except for the dimensions and orientation. I don't have plans to do 6.1 anytime soon, so the additional rear surround channel isn't important to me.
Back to the original point of my question... Will the CSi20 (or R15) upgrade to my 6700 center channel be a noticeable improvement? Or am I better off saving up / re-working my home theater space to fit the CSi3?
Thanks again,

i say just save your money and wait till you can afford a more substantial upgrade. maybe the upgrade program at CC might make this worthwhile, but you have to upgrade within a year.
