very sad.
John Wetton, the bassist and singer for Asia, as well as a former member of King Crimson and U.K., has died at the age of 67 after a battle with cancer.
If I could have had any career, it would have been his.

Jeez, you mean beyond being a member of King Crimson, and a founding member of Asia with Steve Howe, you would've like to have played with Uriah Heep, toured with Roxy Music and Wishbone Ash, and played and recorded with Phil Manzanera, Carl Palmer, Brian Eno, and just about every other musical genius imaginable? Kind of reminds me of John Paul Jones's career in a way. R.I.P. -

And don't forget his short stint in Family during which time he played on "Bandstand".
Amazing career - he showed up everywhere. -
Wow, I just watched the FANTASIA BD Friday night, sad news indeed. RIPSo, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

The Wife and myself were thinking about going to the Journey Asia show coming up in April I wonder if Asia is still going on without John Wetton? I have not heard of any cancelations as of yet. R.I.P. JohnHome Theater
