Just a curosity question for any CC employees or anyone else that knows. How exactly does the trade up plan work at CC. Reason for asking, back in December I purchased the Hughes E86 satellite receiver and now I see where the new Hughes HNS-HTLHD is reasonable priced, which is the one I wanted in the first place. How exactly would I trade up per say. Thanks for your help.

I Think the 'trade up plan' is ONLY for speakers.

It's just for speaker pairs and subwoofers.

I would like to go into a CC and ask if their trade up plan could be applied to the employees. Trade a moron, for an educated, knowledgeable saleperson. That would be cool.

This is in no way a reflection on Polkies affiliated with said organization, as you are obviously in the know.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    ...

But do we really want to see these trade-ins wind up being e-Bay'ed by a surplus clearing house?

the written laws of the upgrade plan do not apply.....such as

    1) is isnt only for speaker pairs, center speakers can also be upgraded
2)you can do it more then once
3)you can upgrade 2 speakers to something else the another pair of speakers....like i upgrades my rti150s to rti70s, csi40 and fxi30s

Once upon a time CC floor folks knew their stuff pretty well. Then came the CC sponsored employee sale...

Last time I was in one the kid helping me called me "Dude".
