Anyone watching taboo

Started the first episode last night but I was too tired to make it all the way through.

I've been glued to this show - I love it! Dark, brooding, excellent acting, involving story and characters. I dig it.

  • Oh man I forgot about this show. I really like Tom Hardy, and wanted to check this out.
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

^^ Tom Hardy is great in this, my favorite since Ned Stark! ^^

Definitely worth checking out. Seems slow at first like a lot of European TV series. They spent a lot of time getting details accurate, including the appearance of the people. No makeup on the characters, unless it is to make them look unhealthy. Certainly gives an authentic period impression.

Great acting all around, and usual scary intense performance by Tim Hardy.

On FX Tuesdays at 10pm. Episode 4 this week.

Love it! Tom Hardy's character possesses his mothers Witchcraft, which can evidently be beneficial to some...especially the half sister :D
