Speaker Recommendations!

Greetings, it's been awhile. Ok so I'm treating myself to a vintage Marantz 2270 receiver that has been totally recapped, etc. This model does 70 wpc into 4 and 8 ohms and is very conservative in power rating. I'm looking to get a pair of either vintage Polk floor standing say SDA2B or possibly new. I currently have a pair of LSI 15's that I've had for years with another setup. I like their sound very much and intend to keep them. I listen to various kinds of music, rock, blues, etc. I like warm, articulate sound. Budget would be say $2,000. Any suggestions? Certainly have some fun here! Thanks.

    I really enjoyed a pair of TL'd CRS+'s with my 2270. With mods and a Dreadnought, they were well under $1,000. Not exactly what you were looking for, but thought I would throw it out there. IMO, a budget of $2,00 seems generous for the 2270.

    They worked very well together and, in a smallish room, gave me very wide three-dimensional soundstage. When playing tracks with customers chatting on Bill Evans' Waltz for Debby, I would often jerk my head around to see who was talking or clinking glasses. One of my favorite vintage rigs.
