Yup.....the 03. I was a bit surprised how heavy this sucker is, and the B&K weighs a ton. I had a Parasound PLD 1100 pre and HCA 2003 amp years ago before going through a slew of integrateds.....the Vincent topping all the integrateds....so I'm super interested in what this next step will bring.

The SLP 03 is SWEET!! And is a heavy little guy. I had my 03 paired with some B&K goodness and I was a happy camper for a long time. The money I had to spend to best the B&K was kind of silly.2 channel:

The Cary DLP 03 manual states leave 6 inches of space above, and the BK amp manual says leave at least 2 inches above....although the top of the Cary is pretty warm to the touch, 6 inches seems like a lot taking into account this rack:

I think mine has about 3 inches above it, in a rack open on all sides. I turn it on Friday morning to warm up for weekend listening, and shut it off Sunday or Monday, it is warm by the end of the weekend, but not anything to be concerned about.2 channel:

The Cary does get warm....I know the 703s don't suck a lot of power, but the 03 was definitely warmer than the amp yesterday. I may give the Cary a bit more space above out of paranoia.

The thing I noticed about mine, if you let it sit idle or have the volume all the way down to zero (you hear a relay click off) it is only warm. But if I'm blasting tunes for hours it's temp doubles, but never gets hot. There is 4 tubes in there, it's likely to get warm.2 channel:
