Assistance with new HT room

Hey Everyone.

Newbie here and need advice on what speakers to pair with Polk LCR (RtiA7 and CSiA6) to complete the 7.2 set-up. Ideally the side surround will be in-wall due to the lack of width in the room and rear surrounds could either be in-ceiling or on back wall if in fact they should even be that far back. I am thinking the row of seats should be around 10' from the TV.

Room will be 12' x 20' with a 75" screen TV and am planning on getting Dual SVS PB-2000 subs. Currently have Onkyo TX-NR929 but plan on getting a 5 or 7 channel amp for speakers (if this even makes sense and I think it does).

Any and all advice would be much appreciated and thanks in advance!

    Ceiling Height????

Try not to put the RTiA7's against your main HT wall
    8-9' feet from your seating

Deftech UIW RSS III mounted ear level
Deftech is a sister company of Polk

Rear speakers pending on ceiling height

In wall rears about 2' behind seating area.

in ceiling front high 1/2 way between fronts and seating area.

Get a good Atmos/DTS-X AVR 7.1 or 9.1 and go for broke
When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

Have to disagree. If you are thinking of or can install ceiling speakers, go for 5.2.4 system. Ten feet isn't too high for in ceiling speakers.

If it were me, instead of a 5 or 7 channel amp, I would upgrade the AVR, higher end Yamaha Aventage, Pioneer Elite, to Marantz 7xxx series. I would then look for a 2 channel amp. Amp the A7's, and the AVR will be adequate for the remaining 7.

Others may disagree, but that's my advice.

I would get at least two dedicated 20 amp lines. I kick myself all the time for only having one 20 amp line installed in the HT.

Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
Sony XA-5400ES SACD; Pass XP-22 pre; X600.5 amps
Magico S5 MKII Mcast Rose speakers; SPOD spikes

Shunyata Triton v3/Typhon QR on source, Denali 2000 (2) on amps
Shunyata Sigma XLR analog ICs, Sigma speaker cables
Shunyata Sigma HC (2), Sigma Analog, Sigma Digital, Z Anaconda (3) power cables

Mapleshade Samson V.3 four shelf solid maple rack, Micropoint brass footers
    Three 20 amp circuits.

    I would do:

    7.2.4 atmos

And treat the room for the love of goodness.

7 at wall level then 4 inceiling atmos.

    Call it a day.

I would also recommend ducking into the AVSForum's dedicated theater build forum and reach out to guys like BIGmouthinDC.

Just going to get a lot more pertinent information there than you will here.
That isn't to say that you haven't already been given some good suggestions just that the tendencies around here lean towards 2 channel.
