got an x-box

I was going to post this in the Home Theater Gaming forum, but couldn't find it. ;)

X-box dropped to $149 yesterday so I finally cracked and picked one up. I also got Halo (of course!) and the Grand Theft Auto double pack. Pretty sweet so far, but I still need to get the componet and optical cables.

    OH HELL YEAH!!! I've been dying to get an X-Box just to play Counterstrike on X-Box Live. My Nephew says it RULES!

    I hear, however, that the new Rainbow Six 3 is even better than that. I always play Rainbow 6 Black Thorn on my PC across the net. Pretty damn cool.

    Any thoughts from those who have played these games?

    Have to see how bad Uncle Sam pinches me, then we'll start budgeting for an X-Box. Counterstrike on X-Box Live PLUS screaming in DD 5.1 on the Polks...gonna be sweet!

    JDS - WTF! Why aren't we gaming man! I play Ghost Recon and Raven Shield all the time man!
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Screw Counter Strike get Rainbow Six 3. One of the best online gaming for the XBox. It is crazy as all get out!

    Just got Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, this game rules online! The only thing that will top these two games is going to be Halo 2.

    Awesome! Get the component cable. The graphics will blow you away. I love Halo, it's one of my favorite games.

    Counter Strike is a great game but there are too many **** playing it online. I turn off my mic when playing that game. You won't believe all the **** talk that goes on. However, it's a lot of fun when you're playing with people who aren't taking it so seriously.

    I prefer Unreal Championship. Especially with 150% game speed and the modified shock rifle for one-hit-kill. Great people online too.

    1. Purchase X-Box with Rainbow Six 3

    2. Destroy Mark!
