Are you using mobile mode or desktop mode?
In mobile mode you cannot see sigs.Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's. -
I've done that....no dice. Thanks for the suggestion though. I've just come to accept the fact, not a biggie.
Can you see your sig?
-
Yep, when I turn it on as suggested, nobody else though. Tell the truth, I haven't even tried again in months, just got tired of monkeying around with it.HT SYSTEM-

Outstanding. Congrats @dhart86 !
Any differences in soundstage?
Vc.....I haven't had the chance for an extended listen or comparison yet, but at first glance, the M2 presents a nice soundstage. It is pretty wide, I hear sounds maybe 2/3 ft out from the speakers. it did not how seem to be deep or vertical.
The imaging is very impressive. I will try to get some time with it over the weekend
Main Rig:
Antipodes DX > Roon > PS Audio Directstream Jr.>deHavilland Ultraverve 3 >Belles Reference 150a >Harbeth C7 ES3
Second Rig:
Roon> PS Audio Directstream Jr Bridge II > EE Minimax pre (Tutay mods) >Belles 150A Ref >Monitor 5 (Westmassguy-modded) -
After a little more time to listen over the weekend, I think I finally know what tonyb is talking about when he references the sac blow-back and retreval phenomenon.
I am in love with my rig. the First watt and Joule play well together and vcwatkins, I was premature in my mention of the soundstage. It present a large, deep, wide soundstage. Vocals are great. I'm enjoying some of my old music on a much different level.Main Rig:

Awesome!!! It is a different kind of sound since it is not as "in your face" as other preamps. For me, going from the Audio Research sp16 that I had for several years to the Joule lap150A took me a little bit to get used to. At first I thought it was missing detail but, it wasn't. It was just different sounding. I imagine the combo of the Joule, M2 and Harbeth has a lot more bloom and the soundstage goes beyond the outside of the speaker. Looks like a great combo to me.Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.

Cough....cough, ahem......might be a cleaner simpler route for someone else I know too.HT SYSTEM-

Resurrecting this oldie bit goodie threat to inquire - how do y’all think one of Mr. Pass’s First Watts would play with my Lsim-705’s? I suspect they’re not sufficiency efficient.
I’ve been reading a bit more about power amps lately, after having acquired my Joule LA-100 mk iii. I like the simplicity, the uncluttered design of the FW pieces, which I think mirrors Judd Barber’s methodologies.

Depends, like Ron said. The First watt amps are super nice, but if you like to listen loud, want that dynamic slam, you might want to consider a more beefy amp for tower speakers.
My Butler 2250 paired up very well with the Joule and big floorstanders. It eventually went to Kerry who also paired it with his Joule and he thought the same thing. Most any Pass amp would work well imho, paired with the Joule. To me anyway, you want an amp that is slightly on the warm side of neutral, with some balls behind it, for bigger speakers, to give you that huge scale of dynamics.HT SYSTEM-

When you say “huge scale of dynamics,” do you mean in terms of soundstage or tonal range, or both? Thanks.
Before getting the Joule, I was pretty happy with my Yaqin MC-10t at 40wpc, but, then again, now I know some of what I’ve been missing.“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”

If you like your music on the loud side, with floorstanders, it takes some grunt to keep those instruments sharp, separated, and the bass to hit ya in the chest.
I like a bigger scale of music, like I'm sitting center row at a concert. That's just me though, your tastes may be different.HT SYSTEM-

@txcoastal1 19x12, Ears 10' from the speaker plane. Listen to a wide, wide, wide variety of music. Thanks.
