Rogue Tube amp

Bought a Cronus Magnum about 3-4 years back and used it quite a bit. The last couple of years I haven't used it much so, I just leave it unplugged in the cabinet. Is it bad to leave it dormant for extended periods?

I'd take the tubes out, just package it up so dust doesn't accumulate in it. If your not using it, sell it to fund something you will.HT SYSTEM-

It's too nice of an amp to get rid of. I just go in phases of not listening for a while, the urge to listen again will come back.

just cover it good with a towel then. That is what I do. for gear i seldom listen to.

I really wouldn't worry about it at all if it's stored in a safe location (i.e., nothin' gonna get knocked on it, or it knocked onto something -- or someone!). Keeping dust off's a good idea.
If you will have it in storage, unused for a long time (years, bordering on a decade -- or more) the high voltage electrolytic capacitors will need to be reformed or replaced. Reforming HV capacitors is straightforward but not quite trivial. Using a Variac or a so called DBT (Dim Bulb Tester) is a handy way to soft start (usually) safely a piece of vacuum tube hardware that's sat unused for a long time.
Past 15 to 20 years (with or without component use), it is probably worth changing the electrolytics prophylactically.
