I have a adcom 565 I picked up for what i thought was a fair price but it has a good hum to it almost like a ground problem but not sure. Is it worth fixing and has anybody updated one and what did it cost.

If it has never been serviced it likely suffers the same leaking cap issue that is normal to the 565/585.
Rick at Big Sky Audio does a great job with these. His web site has details and pricing information. He did my badly damaged 585 to a great result. Good luck -
@littlewoodboats did you just have the one 585 and if so did it sound good as mono or do you need two of them to get good stareo.
