Mylar caps

As Polk used the ubiquitous mylars everywhere, I've always attributed part of the "Polk" sound to them, along with the passive radiator approach, and Peerless tweeters. Yet I see in many threads they have been replaced by metallized polyprops. Just curious about the tonal difference. Any opinions ?
Thanks in advance,

Lots of speaker manufacturers use mylar caps. Polk hasn't used a Peerless tweeter in decades. All film/foil caps have a flavor, the vast majority are better than mylar caps.Political Correctness'.........defined
