It has started raining.

It's 3 AM Saturday morning and the rain is hitting the roof. So far this rainy season we are doing good, and hope the five year drought is over. At least for this year. :)

Anyway, this storm is supposed to bring tons of rain to the valleys, and feet of snow to the mountains. However, aside from breaking the drought, other side effects include flooding and other disasters.

Let's see how this goes.

    Pouring now. The roof tar I added around the chimney flashing a month ago seems to be working. No moisture creeping down the fireplace so far. Let it rain and finish off this drought. At least for one year. Watch out flood prone areas.
