That's a good one. The DVD-Audio they did for the same album is OFF the hook.
Frogstomp first CD has a good start to I believe the last song, it will get those woofers moving big time.

Tiger by Paula Cole and Why So Serious from the Dark Knight score are always fun bass tracks. It Doesn't Matter by Allison Krauss is another good one when it kicks in a couple minutes into the tracks.

I check loudspeaker drivers for loose screws with Jennifer Warnes' track "Way Down Deep" from her album The Hunter.
(heh, the colorized version of the album cover)
I have handful of favorite 'first listen' diagnostic tracks and albums. Since I am first and foremost a stickler for real (not 'realistic') flesh-and-blood sounding midrange, my most often used first test track is the Wailin Jennys heartrendingly beautiful a cappella version of "Bring me Li'l Water, Silvy" from their album Live at the Mauch Chunk Opera House.

Funnily enough, Three O'Clock Blues from that same album is another of my "check the driver screws for tightness" tracks

Peter Gabriel * Sledgehammer *
Don Henley * Dirty Laundry
Not to change the subject or anything, but do you have a good sounding version of "Sledgehammer"? I have the original rekkid (licorice pizza, that is) and one of them shiny silvery polycarbonate disc-y versions, and they're both horrifically bright sounding.
Which is too, too bad, because it's a m o f o of a song with a groove as deep as the Grand Canyon

I have a test CD that I got years ago which tests many, if not all, of the low bass frequencies. It's pretty cool to see the drivers seemingly wanting to fly out of the cabinets and you can barely hear a thing. The exception being ported speakers of course, then you can hear the air moving...Remember, when you're running from something, you're running to something...-me

Mr. Hardy Peter Gabriel Shaking the tree SACD is a pretty good sounding SACD IMHO

The SACD version is very well done.
