LSiM 702 F/X installation

Hello,

I am finally about to mount my 702's and was wondering what height others suggest?? I see 6 to 8 feet, is that to the bottom of the speaker or to the center??

What are others doing and what are your thoughts??

    I mounted my LSi F/X about 3 - 4 feet above the listeners ear, which would mean that 6-8 feet they suggest is from the floor upwards.

    As my HT is also my Family room, I mounted them pretty high up to keep them out of the way of folks heads when walking or sitting.

    I did 3 feet from ear level to bottom of speaker with my lsi fx. Works fine for me.

    I'm 8' to the bottom seems to work as well or better than when I had then at 6'

    I think I will start at 6' to the bottom of the speakers. I am about 4' behind the listening point as well.
