Rare? older Polk we own.....

We have a set of these, packed away in one of our storage buildings, acquired from a relative.
No idea what they are, nor could find much info about them.
They look like the M4 speaker from the 80's, but have additional stuff on the back.
Anyone know much about them??

Cool speakers. Sds & Monitors - that looks even smaller then the mini monitor ? Looks like the woofer is a tad smaller ? Or maybe my eyes. Kinda looks like a shrunk down Monitor 4 with a slighly different tweeter faceplate on it & obviously the back is much different. LOL. Interesting speaker. Hook em up & do tell

Those are quite rare. I believe they were to be used with SDA speakers to enhance the surround.Stan
