Below is the for sale post used when I bought this player and it is a heavenly sounding unit, ONLY reason I am selling is I sold off an entire system and this is the last piece as I have a OPPO 105 that is now doing dvd/cd duty.........offered at what I think is a more than fair price and whoever buys this will have the smile on their face knowing they paid so little for SO much.....remote is included and can double as a weapon if thrown at someone. one solid heavy piece of metal......price includes factory double boxes with packing materials.will include a power cord..and all this can be yours for a bargin price, shipped to your door step.........being the Holidays are upon us and I work straight thru till the 27th, I will have it in the mail before the 28th and most likely sooner......your choice fedex or ups...with ups I have shipping center very close to home and wil have it shipped within 24 hours with UPS.......fedex center 20 miles away

still an easy 8/10 but given a few yrs passed a 7.99/10 :) all I did was unbox, plug in and play.. unplugged back into box.... at work now will post pics soon

oh yeah the price $300.00 paypal as gift or pay fees if not as a gift...lots of gifts given this time of year

ORIGINAL FOR SALE POST

A forum member gave me a great deal on this Jolida JD100 CD player so I will pass it on to the next Polkie. This is the silver edition and has been modded by Hot Rod Audio with the Reference Level modification found here:
http://hotrodaudiomods.com/jolida-jd100/

Also included are Sylvania 5751 tubes purchased here from Snow:
http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?158486-5814A-6201-5687-5751-Tubes-NOS&highlight=5751

The original remote and double box with packing material are also included.

Very clean and rated 8/10 on the AGon scale. Pictures coming this weekend.

Tony, with this unit.....do you really think one has to "ponder" over the purchase?

    I thought so.

It's getting to the point to where they are not "common" gear anymore. Knaw'mean?

Don't feel bad. I saw it as soon as it was posted. I recognized the name only and did a search. I saw where it does not play SACD, so I passed and it was still available. A greenhorn mistake :'(

I work nights and was sleeping, thus proving the adage "you snooze you lose." Man, do I feel like a loser...probably has nothing to do with missing out on this CD player though!

That's a great snag, especially for the money. Jolida products play above their price point usually.

I've got the same player, with the same tubes in my rack. The JD-100 is the only piece of gear that has not been replaced for close to ten years, she' a keeper.

I got rid of mine because it didn't do SACD. The only issue is SACD on another player sounds more like Redbook does on this player ( actually the jolida beats a lot of them) and it took a lot more $ to surpass the Jolida. They are great players.

Congrats to buyer and seller. Amazing price, especially with the mods. Although I don't listen to CD's much anymore and couldn't really justify holding onto a player, I still regret selling my Jolida. Sweet sound.

I shouldn't have sold my hot rod Jolida. It still puzzles me why they stopped making it as they were selling the heck out of them. You hear almost nothing about the replacement model.

I mostly listen to streaming FLAC anymore. But I pulled out my Christmas CD's (yeah, Charlie Brown is the best). Put them in my Jolida and was like "wow, I really miss this awesome sound"

You put Charlie Brown in the Jolida ?

It probably threw up a bit in it's transport as you hit play. lol
