Hooked up the SRS 2s to the Dynaco ST70 and went for the Grateful Dead Go To Heaven album this AM and I did just that. After the X over upgrade to PX Clarity, in the Tweeter section, AXON, in the MW positions Mills resistors, hurricane nuts, MW and SW dampening, epoxy all magnets, and upgraded interconnect she is a very nice I say. Still got a way to go. Gotta land four RDO 194s and order a few .05 ohm resistors for the poly switch positions as well as standoffs and then I will be hollering "Lawd hep me Jesus !" Wanted to check in and tell everyone how much I appreciate your hand in this. I know I ask a lot of questions but maybe by doing so I will be able to help answer some one day.

  • The RDO 194 swap was the biggest improvement of what I did .

Yep, same here. Had them, lost them in a battle with an angry Parasound preamp. Something went terribly wrong with it and it sent some kind of spike thru the amp that fried all four and nearly my ears as well in a millisecond. They almost caught on fire. The VC were all charred. They smelled like a way too drunk BBQ. I worked that preamp over real good with a set of dykes after the fireworks show. I will get all four of them bought and installed again as soon as the wife ain't looking you can believe that..What I have in there now sound pretty good for now though.
