I have literally heard of none of these bands, and my tastes grow more eclectic with age. But I know that you are into metal, which is probably the one genre I have never gotten into.

I'll have to think on it and come back...

I like the way you listen. Love these threads. I'll pick something I have yet to hear and do a search on You Tube to be sure I like more than a song or 2 and then it's off to the store.

Yep, my name really is Bob.

A few recent albums that I am really digging:
    1. Drive by truckers - American Band
    2. That head and the heart - signs of light
    3. Tedeschi Trucks Band - Let me get by
    4. Anderson.Paak - Malibu
    5. Courtney Marie Andrews - Honest life (very Joni Mitchell-esque)
    6. Sara Watkins - Young in all the wrong ways
    7. Sara Jarosz - undercurrent
    8. Car Seat Headrest - Teens of Denial

As you can see, genre wise I am kinda all over the place, but I tend to listen most to Americana/folk/blues type stuff.
