When you take a pic with an Android phone in a different time zone....I think I can safely assume that pic is time stamped with the LOCAL time since the phone auto detects the time zone you're in. Question....when you return to your home time zone.....is the time stamp updated on THOSE pics taken in other time zone to the original time zone at home???? Help, as I need this info for a work project today....thanks

From what I can tell, the pics I took in England still show their local time they were taken at.

That's what I was thinking but I hate to assume.....thanks.
Anyone else..... -
Interesting... I just got home from a trip to India and Italy. If I look at the photos taken on my S7 in Windows Explorer the time stamps are in EST, not the local time where I took them.
When I traveled my phone showed me "home time" and"roaming time" on the screensaver. So I guess it timestamps with the home time. -
Mine just showed the Roam time. So I went by the logic that the pic says 1130am which is about right when I was at that location in England and taking the pics.
