If you look at the 3rd picture you will see one of the vinyl spacers on the table and it will cover the label just fine and look at the LP's in the tank you will see how the labels are covered and they don't go into the water.2 ch- Polk CRS+ * Vincent SA-31MK Preamp * Vincent Sp-331 Amp * Marantz SA8005 SACD * Project Xperience Classic TT * Sumiko Blue Point #2 MC cartridge

I figured as much. But this record cleaning is all new to me. Back when I was a kid we just played them never cleaned them.

Brian's design for the spacers and the way they hold the LP's is excellent. with the bigger knobs on them it makes loading and unloading the vinyl really easy.2 ch- Polk CRS+ * Vincent SA-31MK Preamp * Vincent Sp-331 Amp * Marantz SA8005 SACD * Project Xperience Classic TT * Sumiko Blue Point #2 MC cartridge

I ordered a machine and a 6L tank on ebay and can hardly wait. It was mentioned that 45RPM (7 inch) cleaning is possible since this is adjustable but I was thinking about how you would accommodate the larger hole. I am guessing the best way to do it is with one of those plastic 45RPM adapters that converts the 45RPM hole back to the standard LP spindle size. Just curious how any of you who have the machine do it, if you are 45RPM collectors. Comments and/or ideas would be greatly appreciated.Living Room

I don't have a vac to dry the records. I did see a you tube vid where the tank is drained low enough that there is no liquid contact to the vinyl and then a small fan is attached to the end of the tank. Records are then rotating slowly while air dries the vinyl. Seems effective, cheap and easy enough to do....anybody tried fan drying?Yep, my name really is Bob.

I use my 6L and it's just the right size for me. But I only own like 80+ records. And if you want to clean 4 at a time it can be done. It's just really tight fit and there's alot of surface area to cover for something that size. If you have alot it might be beneficial to go bigger. As for 60khz...I'm still leary on going that high. -
How can I go about contacting you ER308L? I'd like to purchase the kit. Thanks.....Clyde

I do not know if you have time left to do this or see this....but if you see this you might want to remove your email address ..I will send it to Brian for you...or ask Ken S to do it for you...

Very confusing interface here on Polk forums. How do you PM someone?
-
You need to be on the full site. The mobile app doesn't allow PM.

Looks like ER308L skipped town. So much for purchasing the kit to accompany the ultrasonic cleaner.
