Tampa, FL Pickup - All the Polks from my once Polked out house!

This is the last bit of gear I have to part ways with after having moved from my house of almost 20 years to a 2BR condo in Florida. The home theater I ran consisted of a 50" TV with a Harman Kardon 7.1 amp, 7 Polk in-wall speakers, and a Polk sub. The sub died, I got rid of the TV and the amp, but I still have all the speakers. I also had an amp that powered other speakers around the house, including a pair of Polks in the living room. I also had four Polk Atriums outside, but those are no longer with the living....

So when we sold the house, we did some remodeling where we had to close up all the holes from the in-wall speakers. So I pulled them all and hung on to them, because I didn't have time to deal with selling them up north. But they're taking up badly needed storage space, and I need to pass them on. So here's what I have:

3 RC-85i rectangular in-wall speakers. These were the front three of my home theater, I bought two pairs, and sold one speaker on this forum many years back. The odd one became the center channel speaker.

2 RC-65i round in-wall speakers. These were the middle surrounds, mounted in the ceiling.

2 Polk ls/fx rears - These are still hailed as the best rear surround speakers Polk ever made. bipole/dipole mode is pretty cool stuff. These were originally black but spray painted white, and I purchased the white grill covers from Polk back in the day. I must say, the spray paint job is not bad at all, no blotches or streaks. I did it myself, but it came out very well and help up well over the years.

I also have a pair of AB705 rectangular in-wall speakers that I'm throwing in with this deal, those were the ones I had in my living room. I painted the external burgundy to blend in with the walls. They are what they are cosmetically, you'll likely decide to repaint them, but mechanically they work fine.

I really don't want to sell all this stuff separately, and deal with shipping everything. I'd so much rather do this in-person with a local pickup here in Tampa.

So all of this stuff is yours if you can pick it up. $200 takes it all.

Damn. Wished I lived in Tamp. Those in wall and in ceiling speakers are intriguing lol.

Heights in the HT and in ceiling in the master bath lol...

Might as well, Dan. We're gonna be knifing up your house tomorrow. Do some prep work while we're in there. ;)

I'll give this a couple of days here, then I'm going to put them up on Craigslist and the local Facebook for-sale page. I really don't want to ship all this stuff, I'd rather sell it on the cheap for local pick up.

Heck of a deal. My folks had a place. In Bradenton until my mom passed. I miss her and miss having a place to hang in the Tampa area. If they were still there I'd be all over these.

If you feel energetic and want to wrap a little bubble wrap around them and toss them in a box I'll compensate you for your time and trouble.

Problem is it's not a little bubble wrap, and I doubt they'd all fit into one box. To adequately pack and ship all this will take all the discount out of this deal.

Yes it is. I stopped making that drive years ago. Southwest nonstop I'm there in less than 2 hours. Saves a lot of butt time in a car. Where about are you down there?

This will all be on facebook and craigslist at some point this week, but figured I'd give it a bump here just to see if anyone near Florida wants to do up a great in-wall system...

Looks like I've got a deal pending for all the in-wall stuff from a local Craigslist buyer. I'm happy to ship the ls/fx. I'll open up a new thread for those shortly.

Sold all the in walls on CL today, so all I've got left are the ls/fx rears. I'd sell those for $75 + actual shipping if anyone wants to save me the effort of creating another listing!
