    Great price and nice to know about the mod. I did the same when I had HD555 to mod to HD595. Would have snagged them if they were closed looking to replace my momentum for work.

    sound sig is very similar. I have the 598SE and had Momentum 2.0 but sold after getting some Fidelios. Still have the 598s. The spaciousness is great, very atmospheric. I sometimes listen to them over my Audeze LCD-2 fazors for that effect.

    Another thanks for the heads-up.

    Got a second pair for a gift yesterday. The price was one day of $75. I had purchased a Denon Heos 1 HS2 for a gift that had a BB Gift Card of $50 so this pair was $25. The inventory is almost non/existent within 250 miles of Atlanta but one trickled off a truck while I was at Best Buy.

    Bought a pair and tried them today. So far not crazy about them. They are not as comfortable as other headphones I have, and they let in quite a bit of ambient noise (for over ear headphones). They also have less bass response than my daily pair. For $80 they aren't bad by any means, but given that I have other headphones to use I won't be keeping these. Fun to try so thanks for the suggestion.
