SDA-2 hookup questions; please help

I just got a pair of used SDA-2 speakers. I got them off my buddy who was moving and I don't know if they worked before, but I believe they did. Each has 1 tweeter, 2 midrange, and 1 subwoofer, as well as a plug for an interconnect cable, which I do not have. When I hooked them up to my reciever, I got sound through the tweeter on both of them, but no sound through the midrange or sub on either. I believe I have my reciever set up correctlly as a sub box with 2 10's and 2 tweeters (for a car) that I have running off the same reciever, same outputs (tried) works fine, including lower frequencies from the 10'' subs. The reciever is 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms. Also, I am only using 8 gauge wire to hook them up.

Why am I not getting any sound from my midrange and sub at any volume level, but only from the tweeter on both speakers?

Thank you very much to anyone that can help.

Also, the tweeter says 'Silver Coil Dome.'

Pull the passive radiator out and check the crossover. Mine fell off during shipment.

I'm not exactly sure what I should look for Frank, but I did pull the circle thing off the back and pulled it out and all the wires and everything seems to be connected ok, but I still have the same problem.

Also, my reciever is an RCA STAV-4090 if that helps.

Need to check the 6.5" drivers, gently push in each of them and see if they can move, and/or do they move but you feel them scatching something inside - both of those mean they are blown drivers that need replacing, call of email Polk CS (mention you are a mamber here and get a discount)

If you gently push the drivers in and they seem to move freely, carefully remove them one at a time and check to see if they still wired up (long shot but maybe they are not?)

After you check that they are wired, take the wires off (remember which wire went where) take a mutimeter and check to see if they are blown, again call or email Polk CS.

When I push on the subs, they move in easily, and the mid's move out, and vice versa. I will pull the speakers and check the wiring next, but I doubt that all the wires for all 6 speakers that aren't working aren't hooked up.

And I don't have a mutimeter, anyway to do that check without it?
