Dunlavy SC-IV Signature Series (Black) For Sale/Trade

I regret I will be letting my black Dunlavy SC-IV Signature Series speakers go. These have the better Dunlavy upgraded 2nd gen Vifa drivers vs. the first gen Morel. Obviously, I can't ship these. I am located in the Florida panhandle and I am looking for 1600.00 cash. As a Polkie, I would consider a trade for modded SDA SRS 1.2TL or 2.3TL since I have found them difficult locate in my neck of the woods.

History on the Dunlavy SC-IV Signature Series:
The very first version of the SC-IV Signature Series used Morel woofers. John Dunlavy upgraded the next generation to Vifa Woofers which is what this pair features. John Dunlavy then produced an SC-IV/A model using ScanSpeak woofers. Again, this is the SC-IV Signature Series with the Vifa woofers and all original.

Dunlavy SC-IV speakers were known as one of the most accurate speakers ever made and were used in recording studios as monitors throughout the world. They have stellar audiophile reviews and have won many awards including the Stereophile's 1994 Loudspeaker of the Year and Product of the Year award and best of Blue Note award:

I was hoping to pass these on to a Polkie. Although, I have never sold on Audiogon, I guess I will have to go that route if there are no takers. I would be interested in hearing what others think about selling on Audiogon.

Thanks DSkip, I may try that. It's all good. I am seriously having second thoughts about selling them anyway and will probably re-work the layout in the living room to best showcase these. The sweet spot for the Dunlavys is smaller than with any of my Polks. Everything is kind of condensed with some obstructions in the listening/living room. Hopefully, I can sweet talk the wife into doing away with a couple of pieces of furniture.
