We recently adopted a purebred Morkie. She is 2 yrs old and weighs a whopping 4.5 lbs. The kids have named her Minnie Wheat or Minnie because she is so small says my 5 year old. She's been with us for 2 weeks now. She's trained to a certain degree, rings a bell to go out , knows commands like stay, go pee , go sleep( she sleeps in her own bed) . We hired a personal trainer he's come over once and we've been practising and we will have him come over again. Kids are in heaven with her especially my youngest she loves animals.

Yes, she needs a day at the dog spa she's going next weekend. She just got all her shots up to date last weekend.

Looks like a Great Dane-Irish wolf hound mix to me.
Oh wait a sec, let me take my reading glasses off.
Cute puppy. -
Congratulations Great looking pup.

Thanks guys, she sure is tiny. Which is what we wanted. We thought having a big dog would be like having another toddler sized being in the house. So we went with small. She seems to have a good mix of the two breeds in terms of her temperament. She loves to play and chase (yorkie-terrier side) and her very calm well behaved side from the Maltese.

I can definitely see the Maltese in our dog looking at yours. Cute pup!

I have had a Maltipoo for about a year now, and he is a blast to have around. He has my 13 year old Eskie running around like a puppy all over again.

Nice dog, that's the size dog I told my kids they could have but instead we have two 70 lb ones. Enjoy dogs are great to have around.

I knew someone on here had eskie not just me. The late Willow was a mini eskie and our other nut job Rude-ee was another mini eskie we had. He had too much energy so we have him to a friend of a friend who has a farm and the reports are he is a very happy guy. We told ourselves no more dogs for a long time but our kids would constantly want to see everyone else's dog and would bug us for one. So we gave in. My daughter will just sit there for what seems like for ever petting the new dog.
