Do you have a connection from a receiver/amplifier to sub?

I believe you should sit down and thumb through that subwoofer manual before you go any further. You have no signal going to the sub, so you aren't going to get any sound. I suspect you will need to hook a speaker signal up to it (rather than RCA's) to get sound out of any speakers hooked up to the sub.
Agree with Skip, you have to use the Line Level Inputs to use the outputs.Just a dude doing dude-ly things

Sorry I am a total newbie. I was looking for the kind of speakers that you can plug your phone in and play music.
Are these the kind of speakers where you have to buy the receiver and stuff? -
Ok thank you very much for your advice. I will read the manual and look into the Mini. Happy Holidays!
