Removing in ceiling polk speaker

I have to remove an in ceiling speaker to access the ceiling and clear path to route another cable. I have removed the outer grille cover of the speaker. I have removed all the screw completely of the speaker (Not sure if this was a mistake). The speaker is not budging. My guess is the rotating cam which holds the speaker against the drywall did not turn when I loosened and turned the screws . Any idea what I need to do to get the speaker out? Much appreciate any help.

You are probably correct, the idea is that the locking cams swing inward when the screws are turned and somehow that didn't happen. It might be a good idea to re-install the screws and then back them out again while pushing slightly on the speaker to reduce any pressure on the cams they might have on the inside surface of the ceiling.

Thank you Kenneth. Just had to push the screw back in with hand and do a quarter turn. Could actually hear the cam rattling and turn. Wasn't successful with all 6 cams but was able to finagle the speaker out. Onto figuring out routing the additional cable to my projector. Much thanx.
