If you remeber I had a big **** 90 gallon aquarium, cornered into the room where my system lies. Needless to say, It pissed the fish of and irratated me, so I finally moved it. Here is the room now

Great looking set up. Yeah, I remember that aquarium:). Just noticed that the right speakers are receiving a lot of sunlight, or is it just the pic? Are you using both the 9 and 15's for your mains?

Yeah the rights get about 20 minutes of light in the morning, It is not as bright as the photo suggests. Yes the 9's and 15's are fronts 15's are A and 9's are B I have always like multiple front speakers, a trait from my youth. The slightly different characteristics of the 9's and 15's make for a really nice soundstage. Late at night I just run the 9's dont know why, just like to listen to one or the other at times. I think if I had to go with only one pair for music, it would be the 9's. When I do serious listening, I go anolog direct. When I'm just playing music for company or doing other stuff, I tend to use the A.F.D Multi Stereo It kicks in my surrounds and a little to the center, Really fills the room!

All my reading suggests that my LSi are very underpowered by my Sony 3000ES, and I am sure they are, but I cant really get TOOO loud, and where I usually listen sounds good, I was fortunate enough to not get a hissing ES, but I have the upgrade bug. Id like a couple of JC-1's to power tghe 15's LOL!

That's cool. Here's a tip for running 2 pairs of mains. Get a string and tape it down on the sweet spot. Run it all the way to the left or right LSi15's tweeter. This speaker will now be your reference. Mark the string with a tape. Now move the string over to the left LSi9 and make sure the tweeter is exactly the same distance away to your sweet spot as the LSi15. Do the same for the right soundstage. This set up will give you the best timing and coherency. The signals should arrive at your ears at the exact same time. After doing this, the LSi9 should be more forward than the 15's in terms of location. You should try to toe them in a bit too.

Although I din't use the string method, That is pretty much how the speakers were setup before I moved the tank. The 9's were about 3 feet foreward and toed in, It sounded great. I have actually been thinking about puttinmg them back that way. If I do Ill be more precise and use this technique Thanks

Don't recall seeing many systems where the center channel was bigger than the monitor/TV. ;)
