hi, i am vinyl lover and i need to choose between nakamichi ca 5e and yamaha c70 preamps,both very known for their phonostage.the price is the same but i have not the possibility to compare them live.what is your recommendation?i have mf a3cr poweramp.

I have never been able to directly A/B the C-70 to the CA-5

But have compared the C-60 and C- 2 to the Nakamichi and they both hat the build qua;lity and looks I like and both had their aspects that were beter thasn the other but for albums I

Think the phono section sounded more alive on the Yamahas, but that's with my other gear in my environment.
