SVS SB 2000 or Polk DSW PRO 660WI BLK 110V as subs?

Tough call, also two different types here - one sealed, the other slot loaded/ported.
A quick check of websites shows B-stock SVS is $629, a new DSW is $649, though SVS warranties theirs for 5 years and Polk 3. The SVS has 500w while Polk is 400w.
But the Polk can be setup for either down or side-firing, and also has a remote for volume (and phase?) control.
A few years ago this would have been as easier choice, but after having heard a Polk DSW 550, I can safely say they've upped their game in the subwoofer arena. IMO, you
probably would be OK with either choice here.So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
