SDA SRS-1.2 vs. original SDA-SRS

I have the opportunity to buy either a pair of SRS-1.2's or a pair of original SDA-SRS's. Both pairs of speakers are in nice condition and similarly priced. I've listened to both, but there is no way to compare them side by side.
So, which pair of speakers would you recommend? Does it mater if I want to upgrade vs. staying stock?

1.2 are more versatile from an amplification standpoint (mono block capable with a dreadnaught). You will love either pair. I chose the original set for their 4 ohm impedance.
