... do you guys with speakers that have optional bi/amp capabilities , upgrade the stock jumper plate? These Snells are missing the plate.
Was looking at these as a first try
http://www.ebay.com/itm/331934257655?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
... they are cheap and make sense to connect bare wire thru whole in 5 connector. then use banana plugs to connect the regular wire.
- next question. there is an upgraded version with thicker gauge 9.5 vs 11.5 for $10.00 more.
Since most people will not use more than 12g speaker wire, is it worth the price?
Fun being retired with a hobby !!!
Finally - anybody in Washington dc. area know of a place to get woofers refoamed ????
These are in MINT condition , but stored for years with "foam" rot. Would like to see them reincarnated !!!

Can't speak to the jumper issue, but, as far as the refoam goes you could check with Parts Express http://www.parts-express.com/brand/dayton-audio/301?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=D_Brand_E&utm_group=dayton-audio_E
I use to frequent the are where they are located and drove the 30 miles to drop it off and pick it up, however, they will ship. They do good work and refoam many drivers. I had them refoam a M&K subwooker and they did a great job for about $30 or so. -
11.5 should be fine, if they truly use the cardas, cable and solder, great too. They claim anti brass, which I agree, but curious about what the spades are made of as the site is not noted. for 10bucks what the h3ll2-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures

... i ordered them. probably could have used quality speaker wire, but i would have to order too much and time to tinned. I was going to use a 20" single Kimber Kable 8tc cable and cut in half to make 2 cables.

... also
... if any body wants to trade for the 20" single Kimber Kable 8tc cable (blue and black) . was used for a center channel speaker, long gone.
... let me know. -
