upgraded EPI M-110s

When I bought this set for $12.99 I thought filthy but a real buy. I was to find out later that the drivers were not original but Radio Shack 8" drivers. I have EPI 100v so I know what they should sound like and did not. I got a pair on E-Bay but they needed a re foam. They went directly to Dave for the job. Today I got the re foamed original square magnet 8" drivers and they are back in. These for what I put into them sound great. Keepers for a while and w/o and care if wanted to flip I can say they are up to spec. Thanks Dave another job well done.73h0rr62s42b.jpg

    They look like the big brother to my M50 with the same masonite tweeter but 6" woofer w/rubber surround and smaller cabinet. I refreshed the XO's and trimmed back the excess grill fabric that was buzzing against the woofer. The M50 is rather enjoyable and I think they are going to find purpose in my new sun room.

    I got the M50's for $8 at GW and have thought about doing some mods for fun. Something like re-doing the baffles so that they are symmetrical and mounting the tweeter from behind for better time alignment.
