Finally, a Pennant after 71 years....that goat is getting ground up into mutton. Kershaw didn't have it, from the start he seemed off and the Cubs wanted it real bad. Jumped to an early lead and never looked back. Hendricks did for the Cubs what Kershaw was suppose to do for the Dodgers, great game.

4 more games and we can really celebrate and I'll be able to say I was alive when the cubs won the world series. Go Cubs Go.....!!

    Which is surprising for Chicago. Least I can say is, we don't go around flipping cars, starting fires, and looting when we win or lose a sports game. We do however enjoy shooting people for no reason, so go figure that one out.

    I'm glad to see both the Cubs and Cleveland in the World Series.

    Cleveland came out of nowhere this season and are kind of a Cinderella story.
    The Cubs are, well, the Cubs. My team, the Cardinals, have a real nice friendly rivalry with them. Our fans go to Wrigley for games, Cubs fans come down to Busch Stadium in return. Real vocal bunch on both sides, but friendly (no safe spaces required).

    We're leaning towards rooting for the Cubs.
    I like to think that the Cardinals helped the Cubs a little bit by letting Jason Heyward sneak away to the Cubs. That's okay. I figure we were just returning the favor they did for us when they traded Lou Brock for Ernie Broglio back in the early 60's. That trade almost caused riots down here.

    I'm looking forward to seeing Bill Murray in the stands wearing a "I ain't afraid of No Goats" T-shirt. It should be a good Series. :D

    It was a tough loss at home, they had their opportunities and blew it. I have to question too the choice of relief pitchers.

    They really blew that game, I was shocked.....especially since getting off to a good start in the 1st. Their pitching fell apart in my view. The odds of them winning 3 from The Tribe before they win one more is about zero.

    They gave it a good run though, brought a pennant home at least. I'll tip my hat to the Tribe, their pitching has been stellar. They also have been good sports in hostile territory. Both teams it appears, has a good group of guys.

    LOL, a nail biter those last 3 innings. They barely held on, which doesn't make the next couple games look promising. Who knows, other teams have come from behind to win so it wouldn't be a first.
