Going to Graceland

I am going to be heading down to Memphis in a few weeks to see Graceland. I also wanted to visit Sun Studios and Stax Records. I was wondering if any of you have made this trek and had any tips to share about getting between the three places. I will be staying at the brand new hotel there named Elvis Presley's Guest House which is opening that week. Can't wait. Anyway looking forward to any input. Thanks in advance.

Was there about 5yrs. back. Charlie Vargo's ribs are good,Gibson guitar factory tour was pretty cool. BB King's food was not good but, a neat place to visit. I've heard Interstate BBQ is supposed pretty good and Sun is a must see.

I was there in July. Good times. Charlie Vergo's as mentioned above is really good (it's in the middle of the block tucked in between the parking garage and another big building - Holiday Inn I believe) I blinked and missed it. Look for the street sign that says Charlie Vergo Alley. We chose to sit downstairs because the ambience looked better compared to the upstairs. Pretty cool place.

Beale street is great. Stax records and Sun are only a couple three miles from each other. Forgot to go to Graceland until it was too late and we were on the highway to Gatlinburg LOL

Central BBQ. That is all (the original location is much better from an atmosphere standpoint but the place out east is good too).
