Only experience I had with Shunyata was at a dealer near Dayton where I listened to a pair of Focal bookies. I noticed they were running the components through a Hydra. I was blown away by the black background and how images seemed to come alive against such a noiseless background.
I'd never heard any of their stuff, to the point I remembered the name Hydra and googled it after I left so I didn't look stupid asking what it was. -
