Badges I got those badges

As some of you know I picked up a pair of EPI-M110--- 2 way speakers about a month ago. These are fairly early because of the tweeter as the masonite type as opposed to the later Gold Rings. I put out a BOLO on these and not to much was forth coming. Originally on E-BAY a set went for $22 which is twice as much as what I paid for the 2 spkr set. After some time another set comes up in great shape w/ the exception of the back pegs for wait, wait for $5.99. I don't need the back peg because I hot glued the badges w/ clear hot glue. Next step after this is getting the original drivers from possible a brother forumite, Human Speakers is a source or finding a set at the English Town Flea Market.p7xadxvmdpwo.jpg

Sorry it took so long, but glad you have them. We can work on the drivers soon. I will try to call you this week. My daughter is out of school for fall break so everything is kind of up in the air right now.

Thank you and the man form Tenn. We'll talk. That's a line from a movie or play and I forgot where it comes from... Funny, in the E-Bay ad and photo one looked so faded then it's brother. I was reassured that it was an obsticle illusion and do not fret the little things. Easy for him to say . Well they were the same and look great finishing off the grills which were already washed, dried and cleaned. For later today the 2nd night of JNY which means great food and family. Happy new year to one and all. Now you have an excuse to do New Years celebrating....lol lol......Lew

It's from "The Treasure of Sierra Madre" (and, apparently, the famous line is a misquote... seems pretty common for Bogart movies).

I guess most folks know it from "Blazing Saddles", though...

Yes, Thanks again, a lesson of greed. This was a rattling around and when one can't place the quote one (me ) goes nuts.

Again I forgot something, Mark, I'm going to see David Bromberg w/ the Big Band billed as his 70th birthday bash w/ Larry Campbell and his wife Teresa and Tom Rush the old folk singer. This is at the Count Basie Theater my favorite venue. I'll write up a review post show Wednesday.

We have seen Bromberg with Larry Campbell (and David Hidalgo, too) -- they are terrific! Larry Campbell is one of those consummate musicians who has all of the right stuff to be a big star -- but he's (for whatever reason) been a sideman for his whole career. We also saw Larry & Theresa with Hot Tuna (Jorma & Jack) and they were great with those guys, too.

Best thing about all of the above was they really looked like they were having fun playing for appreciative audiences.

Looks like I gave credit to the wrong person or not enough to the deserving forumite. I got a simple mailer at the same time as getting a box mailer package. The ones I used were from TNHNDYMAN. The 2 I used were all his donated to me from him. . For that I must apologize. I hope to tell all you guys that we will be in discussion about getting the drivers from him
