remote for Yamaha HTR 5240

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have one of these available for sale? I can get one off eBay but it's like $40+ and thought someone here might have one they no longer use.

I gave my daughter the receiver and would like to have an original remote for her. I can get a Logitech if necessary.

Very generous, thank you. My daughter will be happy if it works. When I gave her the Yamaha, it was set up for 2 channel and I gave her two RT25's to go with it and it sounds pretty good.

But I also gave her a C175 center channel that she can't use because without the remote she can't change the setup to include it. I had a Logitech 650 remote but I wasn't using it and karma'd it on here before I knew that we would need it, so couldn't make the changes for her.

Anyway, I will let you know how it goes and will send it back if it doesn't work. Thanks, Jim

@kharp1 I received the remote today. Thank you very much for shipping it, packing it so well and for paying for the shipping. Above and beyond what you needed to do.

I will get it back to you if it doesn't work. She comes in this weekend but I probably won't get an answer till sometime next week.
