    I disabled signatures.
  • That write up suggests those cables will match reference offerings from PAD, Siltech, Jorma etc...i'd be interested to see if they really live up to the hype.,,
  • The write-up of how it improved sound actually uses the term "fleshed out."

    I mean, really.

Is this the same as the Coconut Audio site that is now renamed Audiophile.rocks?

I have an 100% sincere question about that place....is it for real? Also, are there fans that have tried their stuff on this site?

I look at their $600 Sata cables that have huge sleeves and then two tiny wires before the plug and wonder...could I be missing something? Seriously speaking, it is those sites that make me (and others, I wager) much more skeptical of audiophile products.

Not even discussing the audiophile gemstones/crystals they sell.

I wonder if I can get a similar effect if I cover coat hangers with Slim Jims...

No dice, John. Gotta have natural jacket materials. I like the way you're thinking, though.
  • I don't know if I can completely agree with this:

    "“2 CuSO4 + 4 NaHCO3 → Cu2(OH)2CO3 + 2 Na2SO4 + 3 CO2 + H2O would be accurate. 2 CuSO4 + 2 Na2CO3 + H2O → Cu2(OH)2CO3 + 2 Na2SO4 + CO2 would just be for sodium carbonate. And we both know that would be like putting lipstick on a pig!”"

I'm offended by the implication that putting lipstick on a pig is a bad thing.

Different types. Depends on your listening habits. Do you want your sound to be "lean" or more of a "voluptuous" presentation. YMMV of course...

But re-read about the snakeskin prototype and the possibility of naysayers pooh-poohing the benefits of said material.
