Something to play with..

Thanks for the info M. Appreciate it.
Probably be better if I just get back to my butterfly collecting and quit bringing home junk... -
naaah -- I'd've brought 'em home too if the price were right -- you should see some of the k-rrrrrr-ap that's nestled in the darker, danker corners here.
(to say nothing of some of the stuff that's passed through these doors over the years)
-
you get tired of them, lemme know.
Always wanted to try them w/ my SX-9000. -

Price was horribly right..I saw them sitting in a corner and well, here they came to the house. Damn heavy buggers.
I like the lattice cover look.
All those black pieces attached to the lattice are plastic, was really surprised each one was still intact.
The switches on the back needed deox'd which I had to pull the main drivers to shoot some spray.
I did try them into a few systems and as most reviews I've read say, the bass is lacking is correct, so I got them spiked up off the ground which helped some, then I goosed the volume a bit and they seemed to open up much better.

If your ever driving through the boonies in Indiana let me know...... -
Will do! I'll bring the SX-9000 along to balance the weight.

yeah -- it's interesting what one'll drag home when it (they) is/are on the curbside
Been there, done that.
Koss CM1030s by Mark Hardy, on Flickr
(in the interest of full & complete disclosure, actually a friend of ours found these on the curb in his neighborhood. He called me on his cell & said "Koss CM-1030. Sitting on the curb. Want 'em?")
-
I can't believe what some of these are listed for on the bay...
-
yeah, well...
