Full CD resolution is still only 44/16. Now a well recorded CD can sound better than a poorly recorded high res download, just from a technical perspective 44/16 will not sound as good as a 44/24, 48/24, 96/24, 128/24, etc file.

    True dat
Again you will never know what Tidal sounds like on your system until you try it.
I'm not talking about Tidal Premium tier (which is 320kbps streaming speed) I'm talking about Tidal HiFi Tier [which is full CD resolution (remember the 16 bit/44.1khz bitstream comes off of the disc at 1.4 MBPS) and MQA which is higher than CD resolution]

MQA and Qobuz 96/24’s do not sound as good as the rips I have from CD’s on my system.
Downloaded 96/24’s and above are closer, but not quite there.

Well if the platform on which they based that ability uses outdated and unsecure technology which cannot be updated. What are you gonna do?

Unplug, enjoy the TiVo content you still have like on I Am Legend, and read more books.
    I disabled signatures.
