Dynaco ST70 TUBE AMP

Very nice ST70. Newer tubes EL34 (matched) 7199's. very nice cosmeticly (not all pitted up on the chissis) plays wonderfully. Has been through the shop and no issues at all. Not all modded up only things done are the selenium rectifier has been removed and has had the diodes installed, coupling caps replaced with "orange drops caps, power supply caps replaced and I had the binding posts installed. Other than that it is orininal. Also all solders checked. A beautiful sound. I was going to mod it up but desided it was too nice to muck up. Always wanted to have one but for what I wanted to do it is not far enough up the food chain for my Krell (looking at the mkiii's.) So if you have wanted to try one this is a nice one (not all messed with). 600.00 plus shipping.

From reading posts at the Dynaco forum, this is a very desirable amp. I can say that I love my Dynaco PAS4 tube pre............GLWTS.

Yep they sold some 300,000 of these back in the day and still working great. They have a real nice sound to them. Ive listened to both modded and (this) rather stock version and the stock is just fine for me. Don't think it can be "made better" sound wise, just different. The hard thing is to find one not all rusted and pitted up, or one that have been "frankin-- dynacoed" up. This amp is what "made" Dynaco! I think at 300k of them sold I think it makes it the #1 selling tube amp of all time.there is a reason for this. Great tube sound for the money.
