looks DIY to me... but that looks like a fairly serious ribbon HF driver (EDIT: Maybe HiVi ribbon?).

Went to sale where they were for sale. $600 for the pair. Drivers were Bose style small ones. Maybe 3.5" size. Passed on them. Maybe take a chance at $100? Bought four Parasound amps there instead. 1250,hca750, and two v3 zamps. Thanks. What's up with the sticks over the mid-woofers? Some sort of "phase plug holders"?
Tweeter looks like a planar pseudo-ribbon. I don't see a direct match at www.parts-express.com -
Speakers are mounted on the wall . Keep things and little kids fingers from pushing in the dust caps.
