I don't mind waiting for the next batch, but figure I would at least ask around

A little side question please. I did not want to start a new thread just for it.
What are these rings a hear about? Are they just gaskets? -
@CH46E These are "Larry's Rings" made by member @Toolfan66. Some pics are here. A Search for Larry's Rings will turn up more.

They go inside the cabinet and are used to mount the drivers more securely with machine screws vs. wood screws. This is much easier that drilling out all the holes "exactly" and then drawing/gluing in hurricane nuts for each hole. They also add some extra rigidity when mounting the drivers. The flat portion on the smaller ones, 6.5", are for early monitor 5's since they overlap the PR.
Toolfan is currently very busy with his actual job, so rings are in short supply at the moment. -
The flat side is for the cabinet brace/divider inside SDA cabinets if it also worked for the passive area for smaller speakers I was unaware of that but hey if it works no problem.

Ah ha! I thought the flat had something to do with the SDA's too, but couldn't remember or come up with a reason. I forgot about the brace. This may also apply to Monitor 10's or any others that have side by side MW's.
