Fantasy Football 2016

It's that time of year again...Here's my team for 12-man, 1pt. PPR
I'm happy as of now overall as long as my team stays healthy. Need Fitzpatrick to have another good year. Gambled on Woodhead as he had a good first half last year and Murray looks better with the Titans than he did with the Eagles. What you guys got

I jumped on Bortles in both of my leagues. Mathew Berry said he is going to suck, so that's all I needed to hear :)
  • Txcoastal is very observant and down to the details. I would stay out of his leagues. Haha. If I listened to him for the Denver v. Seattle SB.... I played first half, second half and the game, spread as well as over under. It took me well over a year to recover. If only I listened. haha
  • I think your RBs are a reach for RB1s. Powell is going to steal some of Forte's work, both short yardage rushes and receptions. Your WRs are really, really good though, criminally so. My bet is that Hurns is the better long term Flex play as opposed to Fitzgerald.

My wife and I have her league draft tomorrow. We'll see what happens.

He'll throw his INT's but he'll throw a cr@p load as they still have a mediocre at best RB squad....not sweatin' it. The have the best duo in receiving in the NFL. I had ARob last year, tried to get the duo this year but it didn't happen.

I had the Marshall/Jeffery duo in 2013 who combined for over 36pts a game for wr1/wr2 ppr....which I think Arob and Herns will do this year

It's a PPR though and I had 9th pick. RB's went heavy quick so I went receiver heavy by little choice 1st/2nd rnd. Gambled on RB with PPR upside.
It's all a gamble as I call a stud 18pts avg per game....only 2 studs in our league went 1st round last year.

The fun with fantasy football no matter where you land is awesome.

  • I get that. We will be picking last first round/first second round, so we may be in a similar pickle.

The pro fantasy PPR leagues go 3-4 receivers and scrape RB's. I usually go RB/RCV or vice-versa, we'll see....GLW ur draft

Our league has been a 12-team Super Flex league (flex any position including QB) since starting in 2004. It's a PPR and 3 player keeper league and you give up a round based on where the player was drafted in the previous season.

So, our lineups really don't equate well to other drafts. For instance, I have 3 QBs, since we can start 2, and I have David Johnson, who I kept in the 13th round, and I drafted Julio with the first pick of the first round. (A Brown was being kept).

Fun league though just challenging since you have to decide how soon to take QBs, unlike a 1 QB league where they are usually best to wait on. And since almost everyone drafts 3 QBs, there's no starters left on the wire.

And btw @txcoastal1 I think prioritizing WRs over RBs is the right way to go in a PPR league, especially when the top 3 or 4 RBs are gone.

I squeaked by in one league by 5 points. I had Luck and my opponent had the Denver D/ST. That strip and fumble return for a TD near the end of the game almost did me in.

And yeah, lots of injuries. I have Rawls and Moncrief, but probably got a boost in M Gordon with Woody's injury.

Took a couple of years off from FF, but am back in the saddle in a 10 team, no PPR league. Here's my OK at best squad.....I also bet on Bortles as I wasn't buying this huge reversion to the mean a few NFL analysts were warning us about. Charles was a nice surprise, as whoever drafted him dropped him after week 2, so I've got a free, potential stud for the second half of the season......hopefully.

Looks like a very good team. Ryan has played out his ****$ and Green, Murray and Gordon have outperformed their expectations. With Gronk back on the field, seems like you should do very well.

Having said that, Ryan's next few games are tough and he will come back down to Earth, imho.

Well I'm 4-1 and avg 135.4ppg. Took a loss with 137pts vs 151pts when my teams QBs decided to throw 17INT's :# in week 3. Tough match up this week with my score pending on Monday night Jets/Cards game. Good luck guys

Funny enough, Ryan was also a freebie on the FA wire. I'd been riding with Bortles and Winston since week 1, but picked up Ryan last week. Tempted to start JC as he's supposedly feeling 100%, but I think I'm going to go with Gordon another week to make sure he's 100%.

Dez and Gronk have been a thorn in my side in regards to injuries, but I should be ramping up well for the second half of the season, if everyone's healthy...

Your WR's are studs, and I like Murray a lot as well. Our league is very sterile in regards to points, so the #'s you're putting up are amazing in comparison. I think you have him this week. The only 2 players I'd truly fear on his squad this week are Antonio Brown and Greg Olsen. You look much more complete.

@txcoastal1 I think it depends on whether you need a high floor or high ceiling. Rawls is safer but probably a lower ceiling than Hopkins. If you need the points, go Nuk.

Well, left Rawls in Hopkins only 5pts

Carson Palmer screwed my pts up as I have Larry Fitzgerald

I have two teams and both made the playoffs. One of them I started Wilson, so you know where that team is headed. The other has an 8 pt. lead. He still has the Giant's D/ST and I have K Dixon tomorrow night. Fingers crossed on that one. On that team, I sat T Hill and played Moncrief. Sigh.
