Best to sell speakers as a set, individually or as parts?

Hello All! It's been a while since I posted, but had a question on the best method to sell my speakers. Mods, I am not soliciting a sale, not am I offering anything for sale. I am merely asking for the community's input as to the best way to sell.....please don't delete.
I have been debating on listing my 3 sets of RT5000
's. For me, I feel like they are going to be a major hassle to sell as a set.....especially all 3 of them. I was staring at them while they sit in various corners of my basement, trying to figure out the best way to recoup what I can and came up with 3 scenarios.
1) Try and sell as a complete set and hope for the best
2) Break up the sets and sell people what they need
3) Pull the parts and sell as people need.
I realize that option 1 is the fastest, followed by 2. I don't even know if dismantling and selling as parts would work, plus it would break my heart. These things rock, and it took me 5 years to find 3 complete sets. It's just time to upgrade for me, so I want to figure this out. I also realize this would be the best place to sell (as well as eBay I guess) so I better get posting!
What do you guys think would be the best way to go about this? I want to move them quick, but am worried throwing on Craigslist may take weeks to find a buyer, and who knows what shipping would cost on eBay.
Thanks, everyone have a great Labor Day!!!

Well sell one as a set then give to option to so buy some as needed. Last resort sell parts. Something like this most times never sell as fast as you would like unless you're darn near giving them away.

I'd recommend listing a set in the FM and see where that goes. Depending on location and price, you might be surprised. Give them a week or two and see what the interest level is. Start there and then move to option 2. I agree, if they're in good condition, it would be a shame to part them out...
Best of luck!

Thanks for the comments thus far! I really appreciate it. It's a double edged sword. They are in great shape, sound awesome so if hate for them to get split up/dismantled. That said, I'd also hate to have them sit for a few months trying to sell as sets.
Al, what's FM?Post edited by [Deleted User] on -
Flea Market

Fm=flea market. You may want to try to get in touch with gatecrasher on this site. He sold I think 2 rt 5000 sets not too long ago but not sure how he did it. They sold pretty quickly. Good luck with the sales.

better not sell
if sell
better sell all -
Thanks everyone. Much appreciated. You mean the flea market on the forums right? I'll ping Gatecrasher and see what he thinks.
Any other suggestions are always welcome.
Thanks again everyone. -
Yes the classified section on here. Only problem is you have to have at least 100 posts to sell on here. There is always eBay, Craigslist, audiogon, just to name a few.

Might have believed the OP until he mentioned where he lives.

Was just curious, but noticed that JC has visited 4 times with 13 posts since 2004.
A number of those posts were in a thread where he was asking if anybody had, or knew somebody who had, a Pioneer SC-09TX for sale.
Seems to me that somebody who was asking about that level of gear years ago would sort of have some knowledge about how to sell speakers.
Not being a cheesehead, but that's like someone asking about a Lamborghini Aventador and asking how do you put air in the tires.
........ Great. Now you-know-who is going to get on my case for getting on a "newbie".
In before the lock ! Say, btw, does anyone have ,or know someone who has, a pair of cheap Boulder 3050 mono amps ? I don't mind used, but not something that you fixed yourself. I think they'll drive my R15's.
..... okay, I'll shut up.Sal Palooza -
They are decades old speakers that 99.999999999999% of the world do not care about. The only people that care about these would be another Polk fan or someone that needs parts. It makes complete sense to see how others have sold their sets, if at all. There are also numerous places you can sell on, so I guess it's crazy for me to inquire if people had more success on certain sites or markets.
If I wanted click bait I would have added a picture of a hot chick on here. I also don't see where I posted where I lived.....I don't want any of you weirdos showing up on my doorstep trying to sell me girl scout cookies. -
too late Russ already put a camera on the pole outside your house...
