The Pumkin Spice Blitz is on!

Starbucks has begun to sell Pumpkin Splice lattes, fraps, etc. at their stores today (maybe yesterday). Earlier this week I purchased a half gallon jug of the pumpkin spice flavor syrup from their website. It's the same stuff they put in your drink, pump and all!

Each year the market seems to expand for pumpkin spice flavored products. Ice cream, cakes, beer, etc. I even found pumpkin spice Cheerios at the supermarket. Yes, I purchased it (sigh).

What pumpkin spice products have you seen or are your favorites??

  • Screw that..it's way too early. Late October and November is about right. I swear those places race to see who can get the pumpkin out first.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE pumpkin spice, but save it. My wife brought home pumpkin cookies about a month ago, I couldn't believe that it was out in August, wtf.
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

  • Does the price go up the closer to Halloween and Thanksgiving it gets?

It's $25.95 for a half gallon of the stuff right not at Starbucks.

The price is the same. The half gallon of syrup is available from the Starbucks website, not in their stores.

Bevmo is stocking the Fall seasonal beers, including some pumpkin spice brands.

Meh. I've tried them before, but it was only a novelty. I prefer my beer without spice and fruit additives.

Now the Oktoberfests did catch my eye and I'll be getting some of those for sure.

Quick note to this thread. I dropped Mrs. H off at oh-dark-thirty at the much-beloved  Boston Logan Airport. After she was through security, she texted me that she'd picked up a coffee at Dunkies. Pumpkin Spice. :)

    She loves the stuff.

    Me? Not so much.
