    pico projectors have been around in different forms for a while now. The laser diode ones (like this one) are a huge leap forward but the cheaper ones (again, like this one) have artifacts because they flash through the RGB spectrums rapidly to display the image. The cheaper models tend to be slower and cause the image to appear a bit "flickery" (for want of a better term) if you don't keep your eyes focused on the center of the image.

    They are great for use here and there (again, the cheaper ones) but for every day use, you are better off spending more for ones like the Sony.
