5jr. vs. 7A Crossover

I am wondering how much difference there is btw' the crossovers in Monitor 5jrs. and Monitor 7A's. They have the same active drivers in them so I might expect them to be identical, but they appear quite different in few pics Ive seen. I think the 5jr. has an 8ohm tweeter while the 7A has 4ohm Peerless. I saw a 5jr. crossover for sale and was considering picking it up as a spare for my 7A's. Pointless, or are they so close a component change would render them elecrically identical? Thanks.

Some 2cents on the matter. In short no unless the low pass inductor values match. I don't think 5jr crossovers with boards have a spot for another capacitor for the low pass. The 5jr's only used an inductor (1st order crossover). The 5's and 7's used an inductor and capacitor (2nd order crossover). More on that later.
AFAIK the peerless crossovers (Early M5, 5A, 7A,..) are unique, and no schematics have been drawn that I have seen, there are only pictures. (There are two different peerless crossovers according to pictures for the M5's. There is some information buried in this forum) Others may know for sure, but I think the high pass was the same for the 5A and the 7A, but I don't know for sure. I think the boards are interchangeable, but the inductor values are likely different.
Following up on the 5jr, some people have put them as is in 5B's or 7B's with the SL2000 or SL2500 tweeters. -
